Nice resort for families with many facilities for sports and spectacular views.

Beautiful property with wonderful views in the main areas and a wonderful pizza restaurant on site. Had great amenities for kids and is nicely located near the town of Cefalù with a private secluded feel.

We had sushi on site one evening and it was not good. The rooms were not very nice and had no views as they were facing the interior buildings. We visited towards the end of the season and things were beginning to close so dinner options were limited.

Beautiful location. Nice pool.

Didn’t have much ‘soul’. Wasn’t any information given at check-in or in the room about activities or the fact my rate only covered main buffet restaurant. Food here was lukewarm on both occasions, and a lot of the dinner options were quite mediocre. Felt a bit like school dinners.

Beautiful Stay at Mangia's Pollina Resort – Scenic and Family-Friendly

We enjoyed a 4-night family vacation at Mangia's Pollina Resort, and it was a memorable experience. The resort is perched on a stunning basalt cliff, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the sea from three sides. The beautifully landscaped gardens and well-maintained lawns create a serene and inviting atmosphere. Our family stayed in three standard rooms, which were comfortable with cozy beds that ensured restful nights. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pools, were excellent and provided plenty of relaxation opportunities. One of the standout features is the elevator that takes you directly to a fantastic sandy beach—perfect for beach lovers and families. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. However, the checkout experience was a bit frustrating, as we had to wait in line for nearly an hour, which was disappointing given the resort’s otherwise high standards. We also explored the nearby villages of Cefalù, Castelbuono, and Finale, each offering excellent dining experiences. Among them, Rosticceria Gastropoli di Ventimiglia in Finale deserves a special mention. This family-run, affordable trattoria impressed us with its delicious food and warm service—a real hidden gem! In summary, Mangia's Pollina Resort offers a stunning setting, top-notch amenities, and easy access to charming villages with excellent food. Although the checkout process could use improvement, the overall experience was wonderful, and we’d happily return for another stay.

The choice of the breakfast, a huge variety of sweets, eggs, sandwiches, but only one type of cheese. This is a resort with facilities for all, own walking trail along the cliff and the beach. The pizza restaurant ( Al Gradano) was amazing. Beautiful views to the sea. It had an adult only area, secluded from the rest of the resort with access to the sea (unfortunately the strong waves there made it impossible to get into the sea ) The room was comfortable, we were upgraded to a room with balcony and sea views, which is apparently rare at the resort as the standard rooms (with only window) have sea view. There is an elevator to the hotels beach (for all). With a reservation on booking.com the resort provided a 10% discount off all food and drinks consumed at any of the bars and restaurants. Parking is easy.

Upon arrival there was no soap or shower gel in the room, but they quickly provided it. Unfortunately the best tables in the breakfast room (with windows towards the sea ) were reserved.

No Hôtel transportation and was very difficult to arrange for transportation to airport. Usually only one receptionist available to talk to and had to spend ages waiting to speak to someone. Staff friendly but understaffed and slow.

Made the most of

It was a lovely resort but not for us. If you didn’t have a car you’d be stranded. The breakfast was very good.

We booked a room with a view but not happy with the room we were given very dark. The staff not always responsive or very helpful. The meal in the hotel was not good at all considering it was expensive.

Comfortable, good breakfast and kid friendly!

Good service, front desk very friendly. Good beds, big and comfortable. Good breakfast, can sit outside and enjoy! Big pool and very nice to stay there with family.

As they make a good coffee by orders, there will be line you have to stay at the line long time, also staff who are making coffee will be little nervous. Location was very random, not so easy to find when you arrive at the dark.

Beautiful setting with clean rooms and great pool facilities

Beautiful setting and lovely bright, airy and clean rooms. Facilities like the pools and bar were great. Grounds were expansive and lovely for a walk. Great buffet and nice selection of food. It was great to have a mini fridge in the room to keep our shopping cool.

Beds were too hard and the hotel didn't really cater for children (they had no children's menu at the restaurants and they only provide fizzy soft drinks for kids rather than things like milk or fruit juices; you could however get these things at the bar area rather than the restaurants). Some of the restaurants were closed so it was limited to pizzeria or buffet (we went at the beginning of October).

The property itself is absolutely stunning. Incredible views, and amazing to have access to the beach. Amazing landscaping. Our kids loved the kids pool.

When we arrived we were notified that only the pizzeria restaurant and the hotel buffet were available for dinner, and that the other restaurants had already closed. The restaurants opened at 7:30pm, so with two toddlers who ate early this was a challenge because we were located so far away from other restaurants. We ended up getting taxis often into Cefalù. The buffet option for breakfast and dinner were okay.

Wonderful

Mangia's Pollina has a really beautiful location with a lot of facilities and two great beaches. The resort is modern, stylish and clean. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and diverse. We liked the most dinner at the beach, under the stars which was made even more special by the magical voice of talented singer Sara Emilio.

Room was much smaller than expected. It turned out that Booking illustrated the superior double bed room (what we have booked) with the picture of the more comfortable superior triple room with a much larger balcony. Although that wasn't the resort's fault, they didn't offer us an upgrade. Check-in was very slow. It's a big resort, everything was kind of impersonal. Many staff member didn't speak English, but we managed to communicate with them.
